Feedback

Is there a way to make sure a seller leaves feedback?

I tend to get good feedback but I also get a lot of no feedback.

Is that the usual experience? I always leave feedback selling or buying.

Regards

Marc

Re: Feedback

and if you don't mind, I really want to ask you

the date it says over there <<<<< that you joined eBay - is that true?

It's just you're the first one who has a similar date to mine, and mine is waaaayyyyyyy off

plus the 666 in mine conflicts with my halo that i try to convince people I wear....

Re: Feedback

Yes, good service, good products do the trick. After all if you are a salesman you wouldn't tell your customers, "Please ring my boss and tell him how good I am" ....imagine that!

I have had request for good feedback from call center staff though. Offputting big time.

Re: Feedback

The date I joined e-bay ... well I suppose it is, never took any notice.

Consider that when I joined there was only bargainhunter and 1 bargainhunter, so I took 2bargainhunter ... now there is a large number of variations around the name.

Not that it matters realy.

so yes you joined around the same time. Interesting, what is that about 666?

This account is only about 3 years old. And i am pretty sure that I hadn't even discovered eBay back in 2006, from memory, I didn't find my way here until 2009

the 666?  Lithium says i joined on 6/6/06 (but they just made that up, it's not true) and I have been trying to convince the Mods and sundry that I am an angel and wear a halo (usually have a halo of some kind in my avitar or at times even my user ID on this account - but just giving the little green dude a stage for now, cos he tickles my fancy -

so the 666 really conflicts with my halo status LOL

Re: Feedback

Yes, I understand that 666 is "the name of the beast"... but I don't see any 666

Aah ooh I see, the date you joined.

Now that you mention it, I think I had a different name when I started, I came up with bargainhunter afterwards and changed, but the joining date stays the same.

Yes, 2006 sounds about right, I was working in Qantas back then ... times goes quick when you are having fun!

There was a poster calling others by their feedback scores instead of their names the other day...

I really wanted to know what they would call me, but they never called me nuffin!

This is when Lithium says i registered over there <<<<< below my avi

Registered: ‎06-06-2006

It seems, i never had a chance, they had me pegged before they even got to know me! but that dfate over there, if a member posts after Lithium took over, it shows as that date being when they registered to post on the forums.

*shrugs*

was just interested

so yours is true

yeah the name change shouldn't matter, its still the same account (and I change my name pretty regularly, but always go back to crikey), but this account is only about 3 years old, so NFI where they pulled this date from!

Re: Feedback

Well it must be the first time you registered surely. May be you registered to buy something and then forgot about it until later.

Ebay was a pretty clunky website then, today it is a breeze to post an item, and navigation with all the links is real good.
