Is this new ? An icon in bottom left hand corner of item listing photograph. (magnifying glass inside square). Click it and the eBay 'Ai' will find items from other sellers. A feature used on many Chinese eCommerce platforms. Very handy for buyers to find cheaper prices from your competitors.... and 'overseas' sellers !
However, the icon is not visible on every listing, so maybe the 'Ai' has already trawled through all the listings and determined there are or aren't alternative matching products.

It's not really 'in your face' IMO
It's here alright. I suspect eBay are testing it out on selected sellers, items and buyers... it could backfire by helping buyers find same products but cheaper which in turn reduces eBay revenue. However it could be a valuable search tool helping buyers find what they are looking for.
