When doing research on items to sell, is it possible to find the date the seller listed their item?
If there is only one other seller trying to sell said item, you would have to wonder how long it has been up for & then make a decision as to whether it is worth trying to sell the same item. Some items will show old postage rates so it does make me wonder (I don't know if it is common practice to update postage every time Australia Post ups their charges).
Any ideas please?

The dates can be tweaked, so it would be more reliable to go to Seller Hub > Research > Product Research > 3 years…..type in your search item and see what it sold for, and when, and how often

Updating postage is a personal choice, I normally have sufficient profit built into each listing not to worry about it, but sometimes I will increase/decrease prices. If listings have had alterations, postage, price, etc, then you can view revisions and the original listing date.

Thank you for your reply but do you know how to see other sellers' listing dates?

"how to see other sellers' listing dates? "
If you use the drop down box options to Search - Sort : Newly Listed, it will show you the dates.
