It's a pity they couldn't make ALL listings Free, more money for sellers, more money for Ebay & more variety for buyers.

Its a win, win, win. Simple logic really.

If they made all listings free - apart from the 40 per month allocated,

why would anyone pay for a store?    No win for ebay there

They could always make stores more appealling by reducing the FV fee, and only allow all the upgrades and fancy bits for stores.

Thank you for posting the link. I have been trying to accept but it will not work for me. This is my only selling account but I was not given an  invitation either.. Happy selling to every-one who was able to accept the offer and Merry Chrismas.

It doesn't look like it has worked for anyone else. It only worked on one of my accounts, this one, that was actually sent the invitation.

Same here ..... I have had this same promotion (same number) ... several times before and it has worked every time.   This is the first time it hasn't .... maybe eBay's wised up to the fact that we share on this page

I don't think it's that at all. Some promotions you don't need the email invitation, others you do. This particular promotion, you (usually) need the invitation. The other free listing promotions you don't. The 3 completely fee free listings, you need the invite for.

Sorry tippytoes .... but I never get the invitation (haven't for a couple of years now) ... I always get it from this page thanks to the people who find them and share 🙂   and on most occasions they work for me 🙂

Since these two, there are have been two 200 free promotions ....  and I am very grateful for them

That's why I put "usually" in the (  ). The recent 200 promotions were available to everyone, email or not.

Expired. Hopefully the 100 will appear soon, although it's not a guarantee. Otherwise, I will have about 80 games sitting in my unsold pile for January.
