Yes Sheep, they contradicted their own statement about the threshold.
The first email states more than 100 sales or $12k in sales in 12 months
And the 2 email gave my total figures over the 9 years!
Like many others my sales have been dropping not increasing. I haven't sold anything on this account this month.
The 3 free relisting was available up until yesterday.

Well, I just discovered something. I just went and created a mock listing (didn't actually list it) and made a discovery. I used the sell similar option, the up the top of the listing page, there is the link to the quick listing tool. I clicked on that, scrolled right down the bottom and voila! There was that pesky list 3 times for free box. I actually did that mock listing to see whether it would show up in the quick lister.
Now I just have to work out how to get to the quick lister from my relists that don't have the box. The link used to be up the top of the change category page, but it's not there any more. I figured what I would do is, do any new listings using the quick lister, then revise and try and get it back to the advanced listing tool. A lot of fluffing around, I know, but if it's going to give me the box, then I'm all for the fluffing around!

Hi Sheepie, Just be careful. I revised an item yesterday because I found a spelling error, and the free re-lists disappeared, even though it was a brand new listing just 7 days ago and got the free re-lists originally.

I think these 3 x relistings are now hit and miss too (just like every other Ebay feature/policy these days) sometimes they're there and sometimes they're not.
About 3 weeks ago I couldn't relist anything via the relist feature anymore, so I tried "sell similar" and the 3 x relisting feature was back on those listings - a lot of fiddling around but it was worth it.
I don't know however if I will get another 40 new listings with 3 x relist next month (March) if E-Bay really has changed their policies as I am now a so called Ebay "powerseller" - what that decision was based on is still a mystery to me as I hardly sell anything and it certainly hasn't earned me any extra exposure/visibility or a foot in the door anywhere - it appears to have quite the opposite effect as E-Bay now hounds me on a regular basis to give out free postage/30 days money back guarantee/1 day handling time and any other unworkable nonsense they can think of to "increase my sales"
I wish that Ebay would just leave us alone, especially since they consider themselves to only be a "platform" for us to sell from; they sure are a lot of interfering busybodies that don't even know their own policies/features at the best of times !!
This time it appears they have targeted the 3 x relisting feature - is it off or is it on and who gets what - WHO KNOWS .........

Hi Sheepie,
Just a quick question. I've managed to do it that way to get the 3 free re-lists, but if I want to revise it I can't get the old format back, it stays in the 'Quick re-list mode. Is there a way to revise it in the old format? (Sorry for asking what is probably a derrrrr question.

Why wouldn't they just be upfront and say there has been a change of policy and 3 relists are no longer available instead of wasting their own time making people answer the same question over and over with different stories about why? Such a poor;y run business.

Strange one...
I've sold 159 this calender year, at about $3900 total. And I'm listed as a Power Seller.
Yet, up until yesterday, I still had the "re-list" box...

Have just discovered that that option is there on this ID but on other ID it's not. Instead it has 'Create listings in bulk'.

Finaly a response to my email sent yesterday. Very short and to the point.
Hi Martyn,
Thanks for contacting eBay about the auto relist option.
I've checked your account and found that you are already a Powerseller. This option to automatically relist an item up to 3 times is only available to casual sellers.
You can check this link below for more details about the auto-relist option. http://pages.ebay.com.au/help/sell/relist.html
Wish you all the best with your transactions in eBay.
Sincerely, Azabelle L. eBay Customer Support [THREAD ID:1-K3E0QX5]
