Hi,

I've had a very odd experience with a person getting revenge for me giving them warranted neg feedback 4 years ago.

The woman is not with it and that was the problem 4 years ago but now she's gone and caught an express bus to crazy town and bought items from me only to give me multiple neg feedbacks.

# It's so crazy that it's worth writing about without even asking for help here.

Now here's my dillema - I didn't ban her from bidding on my items back then but we did have many words on this forum. Problem though is that ebay has erased everything from before 2012 and the first episode with her was in 2011.

So umm, did anyone by chance copy any of the more colourful nutter threads from years gone by?

LOL if I had saved all the nutter, numpty and inane threads over the years I would need a room full of servers to save them on.  Sorry I can't help but I presume you will be contacting ebay to try and get te negs removed. I hope the are now on your BBL!

While you thought it was warranted (all neg givers always do - otherwise they wouldn't give it) - the lady obviously didn't think it was warranted.

I'm not a seller - but I think it stands to reason that those who neg people and also sell  are always left wide open for this sort of thing to happen.

Not that it makes it right - but the possibility would surely always have to be there - if it's all done with the same account.

There are members who take screen shots but don't know who they are. I recently did but that was a one in a million time.

Can you PM me her id as the number 2 is not ringing any bells.

The most psychotic nutcase seller I ever saw on these boards was back on M2M and I still remember her exact id LOL

Well, it's obvious that she's been coaxed and had some expert advice given to her on how to use the ebay system to get revenge- if you read her comments in my negative feedback, they reveal she's not capable of hatching this vendetta alone. She can hardly string a sentence together BUT, that doesn't allow her to attempt to destroy another person's business.

That leaves 1 question now:

The person that advised the old woman to do this is an ebay employee so, can I can claim 'my duty of care' has been breached by ebay?

Why would you put up a link on a defamation case?   Relevant how?

It's because the woman who is a nutter and gave me grief on ebay in 2011 has recently bought 3 items from me so she can deliberately give me negative feedback now. The negative feedback she has given me is a defamation of character and ebay will not remove the neg feedbacks.

She recently bought the cheapest items I had just to leve neg feedback.

She was advised to do this in 2011 and a message advising her to do this was left on this selling forum.

That means ebay effectively told her how to get revenge because the moderator let the 'how to get revenge' post stand, while the moderator banned me from communicating altogether.

She was advised back then to take this action NOW (in 2014) . The person giving her advice told her on openly on the forum that posts would be erased after 3 years.

But it begs the question - why wasn't she on your BBL in the first place?

And why didn't you save the pertinent pages instead of relying

on someone else 3 years later?

Yeah, I'll tell you why I didn't bother with putting her on my block list- because everything about her was petty and I wanted to forget. How could a 'mature' woman be so bloody horrible?

She wouldn't sell me the gate I had bought from her while I was on her doorstep- she knew full well I lived 2 hours away.

She then started the whinge thread about me when she wouldn't sell me the gate I had won on ebay.

If you look at the 3 neg feedback posts she has given, she says she has put the magazines into the bin already- that isn't rational on so many levels... she could have claimed through paypal etc. 

ebay had a duty of care to me but the forum moderator breached that back in 2011 by allowing the 'how to get revenge' post to stand.

Ebay is liable for defamation now.

Who else remembers this from a few years back?
