I haven't had an unpaid case for a very long time. I have a buyer that hasn't paid since purchasing five days ago. In the drop-down menu the option to open an Unpaid Case isn't there and I can only Cancel? Have others noticed any changes?

Happened months ago.
You now select 'cancel', then 'buyer didn't pay' as the reason.

I like it better this way. Instead of waiting 4 days for them to pay, then an additional 4 days for the case to run its course, you can just cancel and relist straight away.
It's one of eBay's better ideas I must say.

I cancelled 12 items a couple of weeks ago (same transaction) as the buyer had overpaid postage by $80....I then did a 'special listing'......found that I had to relist to continue....then had to go and cancel every one of those re-listed items.
Any way around that?

I no longer sell so am not much help... hopefully someone will come along to advise.
Could you not have sent the buyer $80 via PayPal & avoid the relisting?

Well I hope buyers still get a strike for non-payment. I will be blocking them.

Awww Twynnie. That makes me a bad guy, then.
I would have refunded, less the fees (just for their stupidity)
To make sure they don't do it again.

I normally do.....but this was too much. Postage paid (initially) was $95....actual postage was a $15 satchel @ 4.5kg....I got great f/b... lol
