Ok, I've been here for yonks but I have rarely needed to offer a discount because a buyer has overpay on postage. Confused? A buyer contacted me to say he was bidding on multiple items. I said that's fine, thinking he understood it would be calculated after the last purchase. Apparently he didn't understand this and sent a payment after two items had completed with double the postage. So I emailed him again and explained what I should have said originally and I would deduct the overpayment at the end. Well the last item finished and I went to deduct the overpayment on the seller discount line only to find it won't accept it. It keeps telling me to enter an amount less than $0.00????? I'm using a - sign in front of the amount. What am I doing wrong...it shouldn't be this difficult.
