speaking of dodgy.... most expensive h20 on the planet with interesting claims. Not quite the same as a $100 empty box, but amazing that people will part happily with $15 for a fantasy, yet are so reluctant to part part with a few dollars for something tangible..

(apologies if anyone reading this actually believes in this **bleep**e)

Now I have seen it all !!! Smiley LOL

And I thought it was ridiculous that Coles / Woolworths sells bottled water in a city that has some of the best tap water

in the world (Melbourne).

On that expensive water,  if you scroll all the way, way, way down

on the listing right at the very bottom in small print is this -

**eBay and Government law requires that we state that this item is for entertainment purposes only.

So her 4rse is covered.

Re: Here's a Dodgy 1 to watch

Thank you imastawka for directing me to this thread, i will request removal of my other thread that I started after I saw the previous thread be removed by eBay.

Well it took a phone call to eBay but they finally decided to remove his 2 false positives he left for non payers.

Its a shame eBay did not feel it appropriate to remove his listing though.

Isnt it a clear cut case now that eBay are encouraging fraud by allowing the other listings to continue, even though it has been brought to their attention by many different members of the public?

eBay Trust & Safety have been made aware of the item being portrayed with ill intentions (on top of his previous item receiving $455 (new price)), plus him receiving unpaid item strikes (which eBay T&S faithfully removed, going by the 100% FB score and havign his previous negative FB removed.

This truly is an open can closed case against eBay however it is well known that eBays legal team is far more powerful than any Governmental and Constitutional jurisdiction !

In this case it all comes down to a large corporation being able to dodge the law !

This has been the case for ages. They don't give 2 hoots about fraud because they are reaping the rewards. The shill bidder who had a VERY long thread about them last year, had several accounts NARU'd after being reported. Fast forward a few weeks and the accounts had all been reinstated except for one. All their listings are now private, so buyers can't see that they are being defrauded.

EBay were also directed to their feedback where the accounts had been leaving feedback for each other. That feedback was allowed to remain. They don't care one bit about the sellers paying high fees breaking every policy under the sun and they have proved that countless times.
