The exceptions include vintage items and this can be very difficult to qualify eg watch boxes without the watch are forbidden, but what if you had an old Rolex watch box?
The term "vintage" relates to wine made from grapes of a particular year's harvest but has no real meaning vis a vis antiques etc so how eBay can forbid the sale of empty containers except for "vintage" items flummoxes me (mind you it doesn't take much to flummox me these days - particularly where eBay is concerned).
