If it was only going to be a few days I would say to extend your handling time to cover the time you will be away but as it is going to be a few weeks I would recommend ending the listings and relist when you come back.
It will not be a big job as you only have a few listings.

Unless you have a store, you can't "pause" listings. Your only choice is to end them and relist when you're back on board again. If you are going away for those few weeks, end them at least a week before you go. That prevents someone buying on the day you're leaving, which could make posting inconvenient.

If you can get your timing right, end your listings towards the end of the month, so when you return your listing count will reset to 40 the following month. I recently went away for one week and ended all my big items, but took some small best selling items prepackaged with postage and just added the address and dropped them in a red box wherever I was. Sold the lot !

tippy - You can 'pause' your listings without a store by using the out-of-stock option.
I currently have 22 items 'sleeping' on my non-store ID.
In your myebay/Site Preferences/Selling Preferences to enable the 'out of stock' option.
Then change the item amount to '0'. This will stop all your listings from ending when 0 stock is reached.
In effect it hides the listings with 0 stock without the listing ending automatically when the last item is sold.
The item will 'roll' over (with the applicable fees attached) until you end it or in 3 months/cycles time.
Don't forget to edit the out of stock option to NO when you add more stock.
This is a great feature to 'pause' your listings on a non-store ID.

Agree... The Out of Stock option is the way to go here. It works for non-stores too.
But don't forget to edit all your listings to have ZERO stock so they are hidden, as well as enable the option.
Then when you come back edit them again to put the stock qty's back where they were.
You may choose to either leave the out of stock option ON or disable it if you normally wish to have your listings end when stock reaches ZERO.
