Hi everyone,
I run a small side hustle where I buy products wholesale and resell them on eBay. I typically mark them up by around $10 to make a bit of profit. But I’ve run into a problem—Australia Post wants to charge me $12+ for postage, even on lightweight items.
I’m really confused how other sellers are offering products for $4–$5 with free shipping and still using AusPost. It doesn’t seem to add up—are they getting bulk postage discounts, using a different type of account, or something else I’m missing?
I’d really appreciate any advice or insights from sellers who’ve figured this out.
Thanks!

Frankly staggering… and I refer to both the OP’s seller and your seller, pnc.
In terms of your seller’s postage costs, OP, I think casey may well be on the money with the suggestion of these being drop-shipped. Irrespective of that, a seller with such a cheek and with a rank smell to outdo Hamlet’s Denmark would never have my custom; I hope more buyers will do just a little more digging to discern the whiff of something rotten.

I really hate sellers who get so snarky. There's no need for it.
By all means, ask buyers to contact you first if there is a problem as the seller would like a chance to rectify things, but #3 where he says not to bother stating you didn't get what you ordered is just plain rude. Don't care if it is filmed, it could still be a mistake.
And if he is sending most items in untracked envelopes (as he claims), how dare he say buyers are liars if they claim not to have received it.
The most absurd bit though is ordering no messages outside of business hours and if people don't obey, their messages won't be read. What does it matter what time a buyer sends a message? He could just have stated they are only open business hours.
Some sellers are so rude they just don't deserve a person's business. Maybe you should write to him and tell him his messages should be more politely worded.

The bloody nerve of this seller!
I just cannot believe they are serious.
It sounds like an episode from fawlty towers.
Sellers with this stinking attitude should be banned.
