I have a buyer who bought & paid for a BIN item with FREE postage.
They also submitted a bid on another item when it had 24-hours left to run. This item had $2.00 postage.
I held off posting the BIN item for the 1-day to see how their bid went.
They won the bid then asked me if I would discount the postage on the bid item and combine it with their BIN item.
No problems so I sent them and invoice with the $2.00 postage deducted.
That has been 4-days ago now and they still have not paid for the bid item, nor have they responded to any reminder messages.
If I mail the BIN item and afterwards they pay for the bid item I am gonna be outta pocket for the postage on this one.
How long do I hold off mailing their fully paid BIN item waiting on payment for the bid item?
Strange situation! I have never hit this before.

I Have had similar happen to me What I did was Sent the buyer a reminder and if the second item was not paid for in 48 Hours I will send the first one and reminded them if sent separate they would have to pay for postage again.. It worked for me so give it a try.

I doubt they will respond as 3 remonder messages telling them I am still holding their paid item have gone unanswered.
Is it possible to amend the invoice to put back the original $2.00 postage. Then I can mail the first item and if they pay also the 2nd item.
If I sent an amended invoice can they still pay against the discounted one? Not sure if the system shows them both invoices or just the one.
And then if they still don't pay then raise a UIC.

Open an UID as it has been 4 days and you gave the buyer free postage and they still haven't paid yet. With BIN I request immediate payment to be made as I have been stung in the past with buyers not paying.

Yes, you can revise the invoice from the Sale summary page (down the bottom click on "checkout incomplete", firstly uncombine. Once you've revised the invoice for the item with $2.00 postage, send out the first item.

Thanks for the advice all.
I have revised my original invoice to add back the $2.00 postage.
Then I have opened a UID.
Now I will send out the item that has been already paid.
So if they now pay I will not be out of pocket the postage.
Cheers.

Good move.
Otherwise you could have them putting in a dispute for an item not received and you don't want that!
So get the first item posted asap.
