Hi,
Is there any limit for return percentage which eBay allows for a seller? I have seen sales defects and late shipment rate is affecting the seller performance but not sure how return rate affects the seller.
If the seller accepts returns without letting the buyer ask eBay to involve, does this affect the seller performance?
If the return rate is an issue, what is the maximum rate which eBay tolerate?
Can someone with return experience help me with this?
Many thanks in advance.

I think it's still 5% of your sales,so you need to stay below 5%.
It's like the others you need to stay below 5%.

Under your seller dashboard
Returns will first show total returns percentage.
There is then shown a percentage of returns per sales category.
From memory if you exceed the max percentage of returns for any category, but not for total sales, then you can be restricted from selling under that category.

Hi, Thanks for your reply.
5% from total transactions or 5% from the transactions of the particular item?
Let's say, I have 1000 total transactions. But 05 returns from one list item, which sold 100 items.
Does the ebay concern about the total returns per total transactions or return per individual listing?
