How can I get my money from Ebay for an item I sold

Can someone please help. First time using ebay and at this rate will never do so again! I sold a climbing device for $1300 and the transaction went through to the buyers satisfaction and I was informed the funds were waiting for me but I needed to verify my ID. Have tried doing this at least 6 times, alternating between their suggestions of either  my licence and my passport and each time I get the message that I need to update. Have tried speaking to someone who said it must be my computer that's the problem. Anyone out there any suggestions please!!1

You could try the usual "fix" of clearing cache and cookies then rebooting your computer, if that doesn't work try a different browser, I use Firefox and Chrome with very few problems but Edge is good as well I've heard.

The details on your ID, Bank account and the details recorded with ebay as account holder, must all match exactly.

Say for instance your christian name  on your ID is Johnathon, but on your bank account it only shows as  J ,  and your ebay account is registered as John,  verification will never work.

Is it your  ID that needs verification, or your bank account via micro deposit verification.

The message says ID- then I get 2 options Drivers licence or passport. I've uploaded both and tried several times to proceed but the message says to upload new documents

The documents need to be of sufficiently good quality (readability, resolution), could that be the problem?

As mentioned, the ID has to match exactly your ebay name. If your licence is Mary Jennifer Jones, then you need to change your ebay name to that. If your name is something like Renee, where there is an apostrophe above one of the E's, then you need to change your ebay name to reflect that (sorry, I did study Frence briefly in HIgh School, do you think I can remember the name of that little apostrophe thing?? )
