Hi
I can't have a local pick up with paypal payment, as there will be no proof that the buyer got his item. How do I correctly set up cash only payment.
Thxs

Is there something on a license that could cause problems

Yes, full name and address for a start.....that goes a long way to identity theft.

Every letter I get has full name and address

But a letter with your name and address is not a recognised form of identification.
A drivers licence has your full name and address as well as a number which can be cross referenced with government documents to prove your identity.

........... and property theft!
especially if the sale went sour!
no way would I hand my licence over to a seller for proof of collection purposes, but I have printed off the sale items and had buyer sign the paperwork, then photo copied it and gave them a copy as proof of purchase and collection.

I agree a driving license is a recognised form of identification so why would you not use it as such when collecting a purchase?

Letters can't be used for forgery but your licence can.
And by just showing it to the seller isn't proof of purchase either.
The seller would need to copy your licence as proof but then they could use those details to commit a crime on your behalf.

But kopes you should never give out the licence number.
And I'm sure that there is going to be a law that will state you don't do it.
I've seen what identity theft can do to someone and it isn't pretty.
