Just wondering how most people are getting people to visit their eBay stores?
Started a new store a week and a bit ago and looking to try and generate more interest in it so wondering if people could share their experiences and insights on how they recommend to do so.
Cheers.

I have a store because it is vastly cheaper for me to list that way. I don't do auctions, so the store is the go.
I have no idea, because I can't be bothered looking, as to where my sales are generated. I use a store because it is economical and I don't really care where the sales are generated.
I suspect that the bulk of my sales (books) are from people doing searches on title and author. As I have few multiple sales, I don't think the buyers are searching my store for books and loading up their purchases to take advantage of postage discounts.

You are in a really tough business, competing with mostly asian sellers charging half what you have too. Maybe you could add from Australia or Australian seller in the title. There are lots of buyers who like to support local businesses. Good luck!

I have created a facebook page for my ebay store and promote that in the local advertising pages on Facebook for my suburb and surrounding areas.
I find that generates some extra flow to my Ebay store.

Thank you for the replies. I know i am in a tough buisness but i figure if people can get them from Australia then it might entice them a little. Its been slow so far, but it's only been 2 weeks so anything could happen I suppose.
@ Cats_back_2013, I too have created a fb page for my store and update it fairly regularly on what is to come and future discounts etc etc. Do you use media such as newspaper or just local web based pages?
