Had a customer who bought a branch of silk flowers from me and then she left a negative feedback saying that it is rubber and plastic....
Hey mate, silk flower does not mean they are made from silk as golden age does not mean it is built by gold.
Also the material used for the silk flowers is called PU not what she thought as plastic or rubber.
What can we do when sellers meet ignorant buyers? I offered full refund and would like to solve the problem but she refused.
Then I phoned ebay to see what we can do. Ebay said it is a normal opionion and they can do nothing. I said if my description is not accurate, the buyer can report me. What happened if the buyers' feedback is not accurate? Ebay replied me saying that this is only an opinion~~which means it does not need to be accurate T_T
Can anyone give me some suggestion what to do?
Thanks!!
Have a nice DAY!

I would not expect the flower to be made of silk
However, I WOULD expect it to be made of a fabric of some type, not plastic
So ร guess you can add me to the 'ignorant' list

I must be an ignorant buyer too.
If I was buying a silk flower I would expect it to be made of silk or a silk-feel material, not rubber or plastic or vinyl.
Why have the word silk in the listing if it is not the type of flower or the material?

I think I will do sh to my description.
Also do you think Polyurethane is plastic?

"I would not expect the flower to be made of silk"
May be not, but i'd expect rubber flowers to be made of rubber, so his title is misleading.
Ignorant or not we sellers must assume that all buyers aren't Rhode scholar's. (that's a positive way to say, not so bright).
Also we leave ourselves open to complaints and bad feed back if the title say x and we supply y.

It doesn't matter what we think, if it's poly say "Made from poly"

Becasue silk flower is very commonly used to replace artificial flowers for key word search purpose. If customers buy artificial flowers often, they know this. But for customers who do not buy artificial flowers often, it may be a bit misleading. Therefore I would like to get some suggestion about how to remain silk flowers in title but say it more clearly for those who do not buy artificial flowers often.

I phoned her and she doesn't want to change the feedback. I offered full refund. In this case, normally what do you do?

Your flowers look exactly as I would expect them to from your photos if I searched for Silk Flowers - they are fabric & I would also search for Silk Flowers
I may be ignorant also, but looking at the OP's listings, I agree with the comment, if one was looking for these type of items, you would search 'Silk Flowers'. Even if the flowers are not actually silk but another fabric they are what I would expect to find. I think the buyer could be being quite unfair as It is only the stems that appear not to be silk (and you'd hardly expect them to be !)
Perhaps in the title the word artifical silk flowers ? Covers the fact they may be polyester fabric but will still appear in searches . . . . . .
Just my thoughts & opinions
