I've rummaged around Paypal and can't figure out how to do this:
For accounting purposes I want a report of all my Paypal payments this financial year, with the fees listed separately. I read somewhere that the Paypal History has a separate column for fees, but I don't see that. All I see is Net Amount - not even the full payment amount. I don't want to go into each payment individually to find the fees. I need a summary list.
Also, with Paypal Reports is there a way to download all Payments Received as a csv report file without all the extra lines that prevent me summing the column in Excel? For example, when I download the report, a single transaction might looks like this:
Joe Blow .... PayPal Express Checkout Payment Sent .... USD -13.07
From Australian Dollar .... Currency Conversion .... USD 13.07
To US Dollar .... Currency Conversion .... AUD -13.22
All three lines refer to the same transaction and all I care about is the last one. I can't sum the column when there are so many repeated lines.

Sales Reports are free with an eBay store subscription. Check your monthly eBay invoice and down the very bottom you will see your subscription fees.
When I go to
PayPal menu > My Account > History
there is no "Reports" option.
My options under the History menu are Basic Search, Download History, and Tax Documents.
I'm not sure why you can't see Reports in PayPal. What type of PayPal account do you have? Ours says
Account Type: Business

I don't know where to find what kind of account I have but I don't think it's business. I have just a basic store.
Now that I've (accidentally) subscribed to Sales Reports Plus, I get a "Sales Reports" option under my Account tab. It's taking a while to generate my first report. But from looking at the differences between Sales Report (the free one) and Sales Reports Plus, I think I only need the free version.

Both Sales Reports are free is you have an eBay store.
Your PayPal account type is listed under where it says Welcome, and your name.
I looked in one of my Personal PayPal accounts and the option of Sales Reports isn't there so it must only be available if you have a Business account. You can easily upgrade to a Business Account to get access to the reports and other features.

I have a basic store but not "eBay Stores" (Featured or Anchor) which seems to be a different thing. It told me the Sales Reports Plus would cost $6.99 a month although on the Sales Report description page it says $9.99 a month. So I don't know how much it's charging me or how to find out.
I'm wondering if somehow I ended up subscribing via the US eBay site (hence the different costs given) by following a Google link, which is why I had to pay for it? Don't know... confused!

I don't sell overseas so all my Paypal payments are in Au$ so I have my spreadsheet set up so that as soon as I enter the total payment it calculates the fee, I am not good creating a formula so can't remember exactly how I did it but it is cell??? x 2.4%+.30.

Thanks everyone for your help. I'm just waiting on the Sales Report for April to be generated (up to 72 hours!) so I can see if it has what I need.
Can I not go back and generate earlier reports though? The only option under the drop-down box is April 2013.

FOUR YEARS?
Really helpful, given that nobody seems to have had the issue, on this thread at least, in that time. At least not to the extent of resurrecting it from it's blissful sleep.
