I changed the Postcode to the correct one and processed the sale. I can't see any point in posting a parcel when I know it probably will be RTS. I would vigorously defend this if there is an issue, and I believe I would win.
I'm with cats on this one.
did anyone say to post it,
I at least said, check with PayPal
infact I had occasion to and they did tell me to wait for the correct address to be submitted by the buyer and not to post at that stage

When we both know the correct answer it's hard not to agree.

In the past week or so we had a case where a buyer received their item, then sent a message saying once they saw the item they realised it was lovely but not quite suitable for their needs.
They asked to return the item for a full refund. We said YES no worries.
They then returned the item at their own expense.
We immediately issued the refund via PayPal.
Then raised a cancellation request which they agreed to. And we got back our FVF.
Then a day later they left us POS FB saying "great communication". All good.
But... I always understood that after a cancellation was completed in this way that a buyer could no longer leave FB??

No, the best option is to contact the buyer and ask them to confirm their address, if it is different get them to change it on eBay & paypal
The buyer I had confirmed her State was WAS not NSW as she had showing. I posted the item to WA without waiting for her to change it (newish buyer).
still waiting for your advice on how you manage these sales am*3. ..... So after they change their address, how does the order form and paypal transaction address get changed. Or do you just refund and cancel transaction and get buyer to repurchase ??
