I am having problems with receiving PayPal notifications

Hi, Just hoping someone can help me resolve a problem I am having receiving PayPal Instant Payment Notifications when an item has been sold and paid for through eBay. I have contacted eBay but their answer was pretty generic and did not help. I was receiving the IPN ok until about a week ago. I haven't changed my email address or any of the settings in the meantime so I am at a loss as to what I do next. Can anyone help Please.

Try checking with Paypal. it is their notification, after all. Nothing to do with ebay.

Thanks... I have, but still no joy there either at the moment... Just have to persevere until someone can give me an answer I suppose.

Do you have more than one email address linked to your Paypal account? If so then many Paypal emails go to the primary email address regardless of which one was used for the payment.

To be honest I never go to see if emails have been received, I log into Paypal and check there are no messages attached to the payment advice and if they are all straightforward I log into click & send and any paid for items appear in the list for processing,

Hi Thanks for your input regarding my problem.

No I only have the one email address associated with PayPal. But I also have a website and was having problems with it as well  and then I started having these problems from ebay as well.

 I have my IT guy looking at the problem now as it still persists! Yes I know what you mean I didnt usually worry about the notifications until I realised that during an influx of orders, some of my 'helpers' were processing orders without checking to see if they had been paid for first!

We live and learn!
