Hi all... I am a seller that is time poor. I am wanting to hire someone to list for me. How can I do this wwithout potentially giving them free reign of my ebay account. i wrote and asked ebay and they said if I don't give them my email and keep changing the password it should be ok... It doesn't feel right to me. I willnot be with them wile they are listing, It's just somone I have found on gumtree... PLEASE KEEP I MIND I AM A TECHNOLOGY SPASTIC grandmother. Any advice would be great.

I use inkfrog and it does have staff accounts. You can select what you want them to have access to, for example, you can let them make a listing, but not post it to ebay, that way you can look it over before you make it live.
Here is their help page about staff accounts:

thanks for that link kopenhagen.. but it still seems to list items onto ebay on my behalf they still have free reign of my account. Worried what they might be up to in that time. Planning to drop items off (clothes) and pick up once listed Planning to pay per item whethr they sell or not.

I have built that up over 12 months. Now due to family issues I am struggling to get listing done so I thought it was time I got some help. I didn't realise it would be so hard to work out..... I guess a level of trust has to come into it. I would really like to continue to use my own account.... Have you ever used third party listing such as crazylister or activa. Maybe they could lit on there and then I could trasfer it. Beig a technology spastic does not help me at all.

Please stop using the word spastic.
You've used it twice.
It is offensive.

I am aiming this at myself.. I am from a different generation to alot of you and one I think that is not so easily offended. Apologies if I offended you.

How do you know what generation we are?
A lot of members volunteering here are around retirement age, and I still find the term offensive.
Even directing it at yourself.
The word is referring to a disability.
Your context is you are technologically inept.

I wouldn't be looking for someone on Gumtree, it is full of so many unreliable people. It takes 10 messages back and forth with 10 people just to sell something for $10. Then the most serious person doesn't show up! It's a huge waste of time.
This is a selling forum, so maybe just look for someone here who has lots of reliable feedback and takes their work on eBay seriously. Send them a private message and take it from there.

You can trust me, what's your CC no.
PS, send it by PM, I don't want any of these other bludgers to get in first, some of them would steal the eyes from a dead cat.
