I cannot change the bank details on ebay

Hello, I want to change my bank details but I am unable to as I do not have the details of the bank account listed on ebay account as it was taken off, I cant add a new account until I have the details of my old account and I am waiting to get paid, I cant even modify the bank account details which is ridiculous!

I am stuck until I get help.

So the only record you have of your bank account details, was stored on ebay, really!

Why not look at your bank statements to identify the account you used for ebay?

Was it your own bank account, in your name that was listed with eBay? 

Who took it off ?

Some scammers are asking this exact question,  I'm sure you aren't but Ebay or any other properly secured business won't show current bank account details. just the last few numbers.

It also stops family members from accessing your account details.

This scenario has been repeatedly posted on these boards.

I did not find it credible in the past and I remain unconvinced.

Due to bank fraud anything digital banks generate unless its a paper statement specifically in Australia, will not show the bank account number. Ebay may need to change this process by finding another way if it hasn't already.
