Here's someone who either doesn't/can't do math or is relying on
multiple purchases,
Not a new seller either. Don't they check their fees?

It's no wonder you are losing out when you look at your listings. If 10 individual people buy 10 of your $1 cards, you will actually lose money. By the time you pay 70c for the postage and eBay take their chunk, there is nothing else. That was one of the reasons I stopped listing items with a start price of 99c. My items were selling for 99c which meant I was losing out. And that was before there was a FVF for postage.

chooks, it's not magnificent pies selling the cards BTW
Ebay fvf. Pay for stamp, envelope, packing(cardboard) Paypal fees.
But you also have to factor in the Paypal fee of 30c for 1 item as well
They are actually paying people to take them off their hands.

EBay greed is taking all of our profits, in November they offered free promotion postage then they took it all back in one hit $140 just taken without any comments.
then i put in a claim it’s been escalated god knows where in the mean time I’m hit with another large extra charge money grab another $130 just taken and I have checked these charges are unwarranted because an Australian post bag allows up to one kilo say for example I sold a singlet weighs 100 grams eBay slug me $4 extra post on an item weight 500 grams it’s obvious they are grabbing at everything, I’ve been on eBay 20 years and this is happening all of a sudden something is going on ?
someome needs to investigate eBay ?

It's not all of a sudden. It's been like it is for an eternity.
Is there any reason it's taken you 10 years to post about it? I'd suggest starting a new thread if you want to discuss your personal experience - this one will be locked shortly.

You say you have been on eBay 20 years
And yet you say the fees you are shown and agreed to when listing are 'all of a sudden', on a post from over ten years ago
What is going on is ticking the 'I have read and understood' box when you've done neither
As for the $140 not, is not that for the message sent by eBay to all sellers months ago?
