Its been 3 weeks now and I am not getting daily sales like I always have been. Usually its everyday and at least 4 to 5 sales a day. but for 3 weeks I have had days without a sale and once and a while Ill sell just one $2.00 item and thats it. I'm struggling and dont understand how I will get sales all day then all of a sudden nothing for weeks. Anyone else having this problem.
Thanks Maria

There are numerous threads about this....you are not alone:

Hi Maria, you're not on your own at the moment. The sporadic sales have been a point of discussion on other threads for awhile. It seems like we have a couple of good days and then very little for a few days. There does'nt seem to be any rhime or reason to it. I had around 20 sales on Monday and nothing on any of my selling ID,s today. Easter is always terribly slow so perhaps not unexpected. I checked my monthly sales figures earlier today and they are still around average this month, ( after a dissapointing March. ) just very up and down on a daily basis.

Many thread posters have suggested that ebay does not have enough server capacity and so turns sellers on and off to spread the load. I have no knowlege of this but it sounds like one possible reason. The erratic sales have been much more noticable over the last few months so an ebay technical site issue could account for the problem.

There is a seller I buy from semi-regulary, they're not located in Oz but they ship here, and since late February, their listings slowly became invisible on the Oz site. Over a couple of weeks, their 500+ listings dwindled to a handful that were visible, and now there's only one and I have to log into eBay.com to view what they have for sale (they still ship here, so whatever caused it wasn't because their items aren't available to me to buy. o_O ).

Hmmmm, I see im not the only one !!!
The first week of April was ok , But after that , Im not sure whats going on , Almost no sales at all ,
I Usually sell 2-4 items per day , and now starting the second weekend of April , Sales have almost stopped completely.
I did have a sale yesterday ( one) , But Im feeling it , sales have dropped almost to zero, none today either.
It seemed to start for me about the same time i signed that petition ,
is that just a coincidence ?

Oh, I thought it must have been me not understanding some recent change. I also have had a couple of Sellers, saved as Favourites & when I try to view items for sale, it tells me they have 0, but likewise, if I log into .com they have 1,000's. It is very strange. I messaged one of the Sellers as I thought they may want to know, but I don't think he really understood what I was trying to explain, in the end I gave up. Unfortunately though, the first few times it happened, I didn't realise and shopped elsewhere, so my regular suppliers missed out - wonder if that is happening to us as Sellers also ??

Mmmmm, no you're not the only one, not by a long way reading some of the posts. My sales actually died back in March, same as you, usually 2 - 4 sales per day, usually 5 - 7 for the weekend down to nothing for days on end, then an odd sale here and there, but last 3 days it has picked back up to 3 and 4 each day, just gotta hope that continues and everyone sees the same kind of improvement - just hope it steadily continues and that it's not random.
Did sign the petition too . . . . . . I wonder . . . . . . . . ? Surely not . . . . . . . . . . . but I am pretty naive and gullible - or should that be 'stupid'
Have a wonderful Easter everyone and hopefully improved sales to all 🙂
Cheers,

I sold 5 items over the long weekend break, all posted out today ,
no sales today though , it must be that people are not spending and times of the year i guess,
I wonder what May Sales are usually like ?
