Not sure but as they are too long for regular Australia Post limits, I'd think it would be a courier company?
Not sure on their pole holding fee

Postage fees and holding fees for poles are poles apart really.

Just a thought Tipster - you could you could have someone slice them up like a kabana to sell as rustic style pavers (bucolic even) although speaking from experience (in my case it was an old hardwood house stump), one's husband tends to whinge like a b*tch about burning out his chain saw, breaking his back, yada yada yada....
The result though, laid out under a large spreading tree, looks fantastic. Not so much the husband, who looks like a cripple.
Worth a thought, and would also get around the issue of postage with AP (you'd prolly need a few parcels sent separately).
Cheers,
Marina.

As for the old shoes, there's a reason why people do that and it's not just to be a smart alec (or so I'm told)...
Shhhhhh. The only people in the whole of Australia who don't know what those old shoes are for are the drug squad - so don't give the game away.

Limits, shmimits. There's an easy way to get around their limits. I'll just whack 2x $1 stamps on them and chuck them in the red box. Easy peasy! That's how others seem to get away with paying less postage than they are supposed to.

That will be a heck of a heap of bubble wrap.
Thankfully I am able to get lots of bubble wrap and packing peanuts from work. It might help me use some up!

She, wouldn't that imply they would have to be high in the first place to get them back ????
