I want a signature

Just want to vent about buyers who buy an item and then send the seller a message saying I want a signature too please.
Wasn't part of the postage agreement when they bought item.
Some people.
Don't be that person. Before you pay ask for a revised invoice with the additional cost on it.

Agreed.  We just had a buyer win a cheap auction with untracked letter postage, take a few days to pay, then attach a note with his payment asking for tracked postage.  He didn't even pay enough in total for a tracked envelope, and certainly won't be getting one as a Christmas present from us.

Point out to the buyer that that wasn't an option. If they don't opt to pay the extra for signature ($3?), cancel using 'problem with buyer's address'.

Provided the item is relatively low value, and you don't have the margins to absorb $3 to have a happy customer.

The buyer may not even realise it costs extra.

Most times when someone buys something online, they will get a PO email asking how they are willing to have it delivered, whether it can be left in a safe location or not etc

So soem buyers might think a signature is just an option. Maybe just point out to them that it costs extra in postage and do they wish to pay the extra.

The other option is to mention it in the actual ad.
