Just end the listings by selecting the รซnd item"from the drop down menu on r/h side of your My Ebay Home page.
You can then re list them when you get back by going into your UNSOLD listings.
Have a lovely break.

I am also going away for a week or so and would like to either end items early or put on hold whilst away but the drop down box for end items only give options that will display the reason as not available etc. there are "no seller away" for a period or similar.
Only suitable options are available to store sellers not the small non professional sellers?
Is this a situation where eBay is asking us to lie to potential buyers or have to leave items up for auction and take the negative FB when we can not post in a timely manner?

Non store sellers can't put their items on holidays like the stores can. Unless there are bids, just end them and pick any reason for ending them. I normally just use the error in listing option. It really doesn't matter which you use, there are no repurcussions. If there is anything with bids, end it and sell it to the highest bidder with enough time to post them before you go away.
