".. anyway I am tired of it .. I need to work out what to do .. "
and the ebay website glitches out when I try to delete this account too .. no subscriptions etc .. no transactions for months .. no reason not to let me delete my account and all the data in it .. but an ebay glitch prevents that .. will try to do that again some other time .. anyway typical ebay bringing in a new feature half baked and so unpopular ..
and the sellers that are opting out right now will have less money to spend on ebay too .. not that ebay cares about that dynamic but I think it should be noticeable for a while .. anyway ebay has other income streams . the google ads and all the ad trackers etc etc plus what not and their creative accountancy with their tax etc and all their cheap labour offshore call centres etc so don't really have to perform high with their core business to stay afloat etc .. anyway .. it just seems harder to sell stuff here all the time here .. plus in the back of my mind I realise that ebay has scared away buyers and sellers over the years with a lot of their shenanigans ..

"I have been on managed payments from the initial roll out, and have not had any issues at all, really the only difference it has made, is which accounts I transfer money to and from, rather than from and to!"
.. that's nice for you .. my experience with managed payments was not so good ..

"but seem ever so enthusiastic about launching on other platforms, that they have just as little knowledge of ."
the current crop of venues for aussie sellers all seem as bad as each other really .. the standard isn't that high .. am sure most all those other e-commerce players are just as obsessed with google ads and tracking cookies and best match default etc .. all diluting the core product and infuriating/hoodwinking buyers/sellers etc .. but between them they have the whole market sewn up at the moment and will probably stay this way forever and a day .. amazon is really only for pro sellers too ..
as for setting up your own website .. it is almost a pointless exercise unless you are a pro seller with a large inventory ..

Paypal do not take the micro payments back. You get to keep the 10c or so. I know this vividly because I had to ask my accountant how to characterise this 'revenue' when reconciling the related bank account activity.
I doubt Ebay take the money back without burying a right to do so somewhere in the T's and C's. They surely need your authorisation to debit your account.

no // it doesn't work .. when you click the links to remove or delete it just takes you in circles ..
its all glitchy .. and ends up asking for my internet banking password again .. then when you stupidly give your internet banking password again etc .. its says thankyou, processing and then glitches out ..
The link to remove your ebay managed payment details takes you to a page to set up your managed payment details (opposite to what I want to actually do .. when I try to remove my managed payment bank details from inside the seller console it sends me in circles too .. .. all suss and basically my data is locked there now apparently .. at least until the glitch is fixed or whatever goes on here .. thanks anyway .. am over it for now ..
