Howdy Oh Wise Ones Could a couple of you take a moment or two to please look instore at my listing for a CUSTOM TRINKET BOX and tell me :
a) Am I in breach of any selling policies by charging a non refundable deposit? and
b) Does the listing seem in any way confusing or unclear to you as to what you are paying for, and the process and calculation of final costs regarding the creation of a custom piece?
It's just that I have spent a lot of time and effort in making a box only to be told that "Oh what??? I thought it was just $10! I didn't realise there'd be more to pay" And in this instance do you think I should actually refund the "non refundable" deposit lol? (FYI, I did refund it, but just wanting your thoughts on the matter)
THANKS xx

I love the look of your rainbow style box and wish you well with your craft.
Perhaps do some more research, search ebay for custom made to order listings
which might help with the wording etc. The few I have looked at seem to have
the full price listed (so the custom order is actually prepaid) rather than asking
for just a deposit.
I can certainly appreciate what you are wanting to do but you have to be
careful about potential breaches of policy which sometimes seems so
easy to do on ebay!! (the folks on these boards will soon tell you if you ask)

You can't delete the thread, only a mod can. It's handy to leave it though, because it could help someone else out.
Just wanted to ask, in regards to your Disney items, are they genuine Disney items, or are they copied from the characters? You can only list genuine Disney items and call them Disney. If they have Disney stamped on them somewhere, then it's no issue, but if they are something you have made, you need to remove any reference to Disney.
Good luck!

you should look at making up promotional flyers in the ebay store for your products. You can use those outside of ebay also which might be an option because of the way you need to structure. Even tho this idea as it stands would get you unwanted attention, keep up with the creative ideas on ways to work a listing.
Good luck!

If you look at enlarged versions of the pictures (eg backs of Disney characters used for earrings) you can see
the ยฉ Disney. I couldn't see it on the Toy Story Aliens but I don't think the seller had included a back view of them.
They could be fine though. Have been a bit of a Disneyana collector over the years so I always look for the
Disney or WDP copyright symbols. Unfortunately a lot of unmarked lookalikes have been produced over the
years too...

That's good then. I'd hate to see them get into trouble if they weren't genuine, because they've got some really nice stuff on their site! I will admit, I didn't click on the photos ๐
