Is it time for me to be a store? Done to death I know...

Yes this has been done to death I know but I just would like some clarification.

So things have taken off well this year, although this month ain't too flash... I just had a look at my fee's, insertion fee's in particular. From the 17th of last month to today I have been charge 32 times for insertion fee's out of the 68 items sold during this period. Total of $91.50 in insertion fee's. And then there's three BIN listing fee's of 10c each.

I Currently have 12 items I sell and maybe will expand but we will see how it goes like this first...

If I'm reading the store fee's correctly they are a flat rate of 20c for a basic store so I would be better off. But am I missing anything?

Well, this month have been good for what I sell. 68 items sold. So I'm still under the 80 free listing threshold. If I plan to expand, haven't decided yet, then I see it worthy of a featured store. Unless I'm missing something here. I can't make lots of listing of things I don't have to list...

Plus I had to google what ROFPML meant. I'm not like you youngin's.

You're missing something. 1 percent more FVF

Unless sales are more than $3.000 the 1% less FVF will not compensate for the additional $30 store fee. Free listings don't matter as McB doesn't use the 80 that a basic store provide.

McB - if you sign up for a basic store now it will cost you $49.95 (maybe, because it usually goes onto your next bill. When I opened my store I paid 1.5 months store fees as I opened it halfway through my billing cycle). When your next billing cycle comes around you will revert to $19.95 and should get a credit for any part of the month where that applied and you paid over the odds.

I paid my bill a couple of days ago. Which means I've paid up until 15 May at $49.95. When I downgrade to a Basic store (before 1 May) I expect my next bill to include a refund for the 1/2 month of featured that I will not have used.

Yay for me I took the plunge and are now a Featured store. One last thing before I wrap this up. All my current listings except for one which I just put on are in the old format, I suppose you'd call it, and are not showing in my store. Do I need to cancel the listings and then relist them? or just leave them and let them run out then relist?

Yay! Congratulations! Well done with everything.

I'm not an expert in that as well, though. I opened a basic store straight away and then upgraded to featured when they incentivized us.

I'm sure somebody else will know what you should do and will come along soon to tell you.

No, don't cancel the listings just yet. They usually take some time to begin to appear in your store, sometimes even several hours before they show.
