Issues having your identity verified for pay out???? No one can explain why.

I sold an item, haven't sold for ages but been with ebay 20 years.
I cannot get paid out as I am waiting for manual ID verification.
There is no issue with my ID and entered information so why the problem?

So frustrating, no resolve ... just going around in an ebay help loop.
Will never sell on ebay again, just want my money then seriously thinking of closing down my account.

They get all your information, you can't get paid & that worries me!

How long you have been a member has nothing to do with it

You needed to sign up for Managed Payments (which has been around for well over three years) before you listed anything

Since you say you will 'never sell on eBay again' there is no point explaining

You will not get your money until you have fully, and correctly signed up

(Which as said, should have been done, then waited until you were verified before selling)

And once you do and have been , your money will still be on hold for 30 days

As you agreed to when listing

Your funds will be on hold for 30 days, even if your bank account has been verified correctly.

If your bank account has not been verified, it is illegal for ebay to pay you and funds will eventually be forwarded to  ASIC, where you will also need valid proof of ID to make a claim.

you are effectively a new seller,  who didnt verify their identity.

Funny thing is if you do identify yourself and wait the 30 days,  they will pay you.

When they changed to managed payments,  they sent out about 2 million emails telling us all to do what we had to do,  if you ignored all of the notifications, there is only one person to blame.

I have some really bad news for you,  unless you go to Facebook Marketplace and a couple of that type of sales platform,  you will have to identify yourself as well.

Good luck on Facebook market place.  it's a bit like the wild west over there.

PS.   I would cancel the one item you still have listed,  as guess what if you can't identify yourself,  no pay out for that one either.
