This is a new experience for me.. I never even used to look at feedback in case it upset me, any feedback that is.
Now as soon as I see that number change, I am on to it...I check the feedback comment, then straight to dsr to make sure column is still all negative. Similiarly, a new ebay msg causes me some anxiety, might be an INAD..
I might get an ulcer lol

Your website looks terrific characterparties, easy to navigate too.
Such a shame that eBay just doesn't get what it is doing will push more and more small business sellers to do the same, and we will lose the fantastic choice of Australian sellers products all being available from eBay.

In my opinion, many people use the feedback system like they would comment on things on facebook. It is a form of cyber bullying !!
Also, I have found on many occasions, that it is usually the inexperienced buyers who leave unwarranted neutral or negative buttons.
I have a store and make all of my own items, so have control in the main over most aspects of the sale. I also work very hard on my customer service. Thankfully me feedback score is 100% with one only neutral for a problem with delivery caused by Australia Post.
However, earlier on, I was getting SO upset over some unwarranted feedback left (could feel my blood pressure rising) that I have now learnt to steel myself against it, and act to have it removed if possible.
One rather nasty buyer left me a NEGATIVE button with GOOD comments.
First off, when messaged, he indicated to me it was not a mistake that he had done this.
I read and re-read the ebay rules over this, and persisted with many phone calls to CS.
Eventually eBay removed the negative feedback... EVEN THEN I had to write to the buyer to get his official OK for eBay to remove it !!
(What a joke).
My advice.... Stay cool... if unwarranted, see if eBay can remove it... and.. Don't let people bully you !!

thanks pj's I built most of it myself. Deliberate strategy of only selling 30% of our inventory on ebay gets a lot of traffic to the website. we also get a lot of buyers to the site via ebay by perfectly legit means. I read somewhere a good online retail business has about 20% of its sales on ebay. I think ours is way less than that but the investment in time on the website definatley pays off. for anybody daunted by the task its worth it and the costs arent that high maybe 3-4k all up which is not much for setting up a business but appreciate a lot to some folks.
the website is that successful that we recently took an order on the site over ebay from a senior marketing manager who works for ebay ( as checked on linkedin). had to laugh about that one.
go build your website and flick the finger of contentment to the good ship ebay!
