Well, the added features of SM have lured me over! It will take a few hours to get up and running but so far so good. The bulk re-list is very handy.
eBay says Selling Manager Pro does have fees, after the free 30-day trial (for first time subscribers), so I signed upto the regular Selling Manager, which is apparently free, if I've read it right.
Just wondering if there are costs involved in the regular Selling Manager and what they are. It says free but I'm not 100% sure. Thanks for any help.

There's no cost for basic Selling Manager, although I can't remember if there's an actual charge - if so, it gets added to your fees then immediately credited (i.e. once a month your invoice will show something like SM subscription $9.95; fee credit $9.95). Selling manager Pro is also free if you have a store, and the same thing happens.

I can confirm that there are no charges for Selling Manager "regular", I use it on my non-store accounts.
For the most part, I don't really see much advantage in SM Pro - I don't really remember anything that I use on SMP that is missing on the freebie one.

Thanks, both of you. I did read about the fee compensation and good to hear that they're true to their word. Having a Selling Manager looks really good. There are actually a number of useful features. If you're making a good turnover, the Pro isn't very much per month but obviously for newbies who aren't selling very much it just makes sense to try the free one.

This question may not relate directly to SM but I didn't want to start another thread.
Regarding prompting buyers to leave feedback after "about a month", is there any way we can change this? If a buyer hasn't left feedback, I'd rather not prompt them... if they wanted to, they probably would have left it already. I've looked about eBay's settings and can't find this feature anywhere. What has been your experience with the automatic follow-up prompting of feedback?

Unfortunately, no. Members can change their settings so that eBay don't send them any feedback reminders, but an individual seller can't stop reminders for their sales from going - I wish I could, too.
