Line breaks in eBay messages

Was

just wondering if anyone else's messages sent to other members

through eBay's message facility are affected by very poorly

placed line

breaks, or if it's just some weird interaction between eBay and my particular browser.

This

is not a new issue I've noticed - it's been occurring for months/years and I'm just getting around to asking about it now.

Its manifestation

is very inconsistent with its severity varying depending upon the message content, but it messes with the format of my stock 'item sent' message quite heavily.

Note: the line breaks in the above paragraphs were placed intentionally to demostrate the problem 🙂

Sorry, but I have exactly the same issues here (Firefox 17.0.1) but not in all forums. It mainly manifests itself in the Answer Centre for me, and the only way to cure it is to leave a paragraph, but not a line break.

For some inexplicable reason, doing that will give you a single line space between paragraphs, although on some forums, it leaves 2 lines. Go figure. 😞
