You could ask the person who gave it to you which store they bought it from. Alternatively try Googling the date code number inside the bag - fake bags tend to use the same series of numbers which can be found by looking on Google. Genuine ones have two letters followed by 4 numbers.

I wouldn't bother, even if it was authenticated it would probably be removed at least once more and you would have to spend ages proving to T&S that it was genuine before you were allowed to list.
If it is genuine then you may do better at a B&M auction that specialises in clothing and accessories.
