Little Icons in the Item headings

Hi all, sometimes I see little icons placed in the headinds of an item, does anyone know how to do this?

Any help is appreciated.

Re: Little Icons in the Item headings

I have little to say except that ๐Ÿ” for the titles of ๐Ÿ“š can be difficult if they're ๐ŸŽŽ and contain a ใŠ™. Of course, reading while on a ๐Ÿš‚ or โ›ต, or tanning oneself on a ๐Ÿ– (bad idea - ๐ŸŒก,โ˜€,๐Ÿ”ฅ, ๐Ÿค’,๐Ÿš‘, ๐Ÿฅ,๐Ÿ›Œ, ๐Ÿ˜ท) does serve to beguile the time โณ,

If you want to sell for good amounts of ๐Ÿ’ต ๐Ÿ’ฐ ๐Ÿ’ณ, you need to be easy for the ๐Ÿ‘ to see.

Avoid a โ›ฒ๐ŸŒŠ of symbols. Be ๐Ÿฆ‰ and โ™ฏ with words, take good photos with your ๐Ÿ“ธ, โฎ‰ the necessary details, and wait for the eager buyers to come armed with ๐Ÿ›, tossing longed-for items into their ๐Ÿ›’, and ๐Ÿค on the deal.

Strictly speaking they are not allowed, although there are plenty around.

Search and browse manipulation policy

"For example, the use of superscript, subscript or other special characters (e.g. โ„ข, โ™ฅ, ยฝ) in the title, subtitle, item specifics or other fields is not allowed."

We didn't know about this one - we (like many stamp sellers) use the symbol ยฝ in some of our titles as the denomination of the stamp could be, for example, 1ยฝd.  Surely that shouldn't be a problem!

If I was selling pre-decimals, I would certainly do it your way, which is the only sensible way (I mean, how do you fit "threepence halfpenny" in a title?), and keep doing it until I was pulled up; and then I'd complain long and loud.

Exactly!

Even 3 1/2d uses more characters than 3ยฝd, and we often need every one we're allowed!
