Local pick up option disappears when selecting "calculated postage"?!

I'm having a problem with my listings, where the option to choose local pick up disappears when I select "calculated postage".  The option only appears when I select "flat rate postage".  Any idea why this is?  It's frustrating because I want to offer the option of a free local pickup, yet I also need to offer postage based on weight for those who want it shipped - a flat rate is simply not an option.  Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

I don't think you can. I would list as free local pickup, and put in the description that the option of postage is there for the buyer upon contacting you for a postage quote. OR - list as posting with calculated postage and in the description advise pick up available also. Best I can come up with, someone else may be along with a better idea.

You can do as GC suggests, or you can list with the calculated and in bold in your description - Pick up from XXXXXXX is also available.

As well in the payment options, tick pay on pick up.

Not sure what you mean, here is a listing that offers calculated postage as well as "cash on pick up"

I am more puzzled that you can offer as one option PICK UP ONLY and as second option offer postage. 🙂   Just select the calculated postage and then in payment options offer CASH on PICK UP.  And also mention in the description where to pick up from = suburb and postcode.  Might be good idea to put post code in the title.

Op means in the postage section for flat rate, there is the provision to show pick up is also available.

But for some reason when you use calculated, that option to show pick up available is no longer there.

There is of course the pay on pick up, but that is in the payment section only.

If you don't want them using Paypal if they are picking up then it is much better not to offer pick up in the delivery options, just offer cash on pick up in the payment methods.

I don't often list pick up items but if I do I put Pick Up from 4502 in the title or, if there isn't room I pay the extra for a subtitle.
