Hopefully, they can close it down over there before it goes global…..but I suspect they have bigger problems 🤨

16:24 10/10/2025.

That's my inbox at that time.  Literally 2 min between the notification and sale.  Blew my mind.

The memory sticks have always been sent using a BX15 AusPost rigid mailer.  Untracked.  Never a problem and my feedback says it all.

But now, I'm expecting a DOA on this one.  It's 05:02 11/10/2025 and it's already packed and sent.  Barely 12 hours later.  Packing and sending is always videoed.  Buyer notified and snapshots from video sent too.  Feedback left.  Marked as sent.  Now I wait.

I just ended all my listings because of this confirmation thing.  Do I need to send everything with tracking now.  That'll jack the price up.  Memory sticks are already generally worthless.

Just asked the system when it expects to release the funds.  It says, OC3819.  What the hell is that.  lol   The eBay help for the new feature says 30 days from order date for untracked items.

Oh well.

Your funds will be available for payout once we receive delivery confirmation

Hi Xxxxxx,

We are making changes to the way we process payments on eBay. Going forward, we’ll make your funds available for payout within 72 hours after we’ve confirmed delivery of the item. Until then, you’ll see a “hold” on your funds. This process helps keep our marketplace safe.

If you have any questions or concerns, just get in touch. Thanks for being part of the eBay community.

That's it.  Not much to it.  BIG STATEMENT heading.  lol

Here's part of the email header.

Singapore (SGT) is 3 hours behind AEDT.  That's where my email server is.  It's a real email.

My portal also has it noted, now.

Re: Look at what’s happening on U.S. eBay!

Maybe the issue is you using a foreign email server. Which might trigger eBay to assume you are not actually in Australia.

Re: Look at what’s happening on U.S. eBay!

I like the logic but an email server location is irrelevant, as are email addresses.

Every detail on the account, including payout account, is based in Australia.

Note down the bottom of the email is says, "eBay C‌ommerce A‌ustralia P‌ty L‌td."

I'm special.  lol

Re: Look at what’s happening on U.S. eBay!

I'm special.

It would seem so.

I have sold items on both my store and non-store accounts today. Proceeds from all are available already. No holds.

I do sell consistently, have a an excellent record...
