"from 7 February 2022, if sellers upload valid tracking for less than 95% of their trackable orders, their payments will be placed on hold. "
How dare they hold people's own money. But I expected no less from managed payments. What else..... maybe charging fees for late posting or not answering buyer's messages? Why not, lets do that too, it'll be fun

As I said, upload manually. Or wait for payments to be released 3 days after ETA. With 4k transactions per year you can surely afford to have payments held due to your laziness wish to automate everything

Uploading manually still does not work 🙂 but just still annoying less money ebay has the better, 🙂 Thanks for your help as always 🙂

Most of the labels I create through MyPost Business don't automatically upload to ebay. In fact, most of my ebay sales don't appear in My Post Business, so I do them manually. When I need to do that, I go to the item in ebay, hit the drop down and select add tracking number. I manually add it, and that also automatically marks it as sent.
However, you having over 200,000 transactions a year, you'd know that. Maybe your issue would be better asked to Aust Post?

The Issue is not Australia Post. Its ebay.

@danieh_6 wrote:Its not that, the tracking is EXACTLY the same, there is NO sync issues, It purely just does not update. as in it will scan with auspost but wont update anything on ebay. Even though the correct tracking is there on the order
Yet, your opening post clearly opens with……
….our main account does not sync tracking with eBay at least 97% of the time.
….so…I’m lost (not hard 😉😂)… but in all seriousness. Which one is it? A syncing problem or not a syncing problem???

Actually I am a bit befuzzled by the announcement. If a seller advertises their item as a parcel, why wouldn't they add tracking numbers when posting?
Maybe it weeds out international sellers who are more likely not to add tracking numbers?
And no I don't have any trouble with syncing - I use Aust Post labels and all my tracking numbers upload automatically - I don't know why they wouldn't.

I agree as a seller and def as a buyer. How many sellers out there have EBAY account set up in China but item is located in Australia. Say the item is on the way from Oz location but really it is located in China and you have to wait to get it. Over dodgy sellers pushing our sale prices down and killing our profit margin.

Yes i agree with your first comment and have to hand it to the ebay team to come up with yet another way to with hold funds from every day sellers with clean records, This heavy handed tactic now sees us all tarred with the same brush. If you list your items with say a quick get it out the door 1-2 day handling and you are sick or delayed in any way with work you are now treated as an offender and " oh we will keep your money " for the hell of it!!!
i have now changed my handling time to 4 days as a result to allow myself room to enable being paid straight away.
i think many others will do the same and it will deprive them of the money they expect. What are they doing with it ??? floating it on the short term money markets....hmmmm

It should be targeting sellers who advertise items and dont own them choosing then to out source the item once you have paid for it!!
This is abundantly obvious when you dont have a tracking number after a week.

You miss the point and were all not Christians not perfect just for given .
It's about man handling all sellers that are good ebayers that do the right things but are now targets of ebay.
What if your'e silly enough to have a 1=2 handling period work full time and have house hold obligations and are sick and miss the window by hours only or even one miserable day? for typing in a tracking number though its posted already as stated.
Does this then make it acceptable for ebay to hold back funds .
sellers will now adjust their handling times to allow for possible delays . Hell i changed mine to 4 days now and have room to breathe.
The price and your track record is what sells items not ebay telling you your'e handling time may effect buyers which is rubbish.
