Hi
Recently a lot of my payout funds have been placed on hold. It says it either needs tracking info or confirmation that the buyer has recieved the item... If the buyer never confirms the item is recieved, how long will my funds stay on hold until ebay decides to release them?
Thanks Jarrod

You don't seem to be a new/infrequent seller, so not sure why the funds would be on hold. I can see your sold history goes back to the beginning of Feb - were you selling prior to Feb, or did you start up again around that date?
Have you signed up to the new Managed Payments system and are fully ID verified?
If you look at the Seller Hub - Payments tab, it will give you the payout date.

That's a bit like "how long is a piece of string". Are the holds on items that don't have tracking on them that can be uploaded into the sold items ?
Usually holds are put on items sold by "new sellers" but you don't fit in that category. For them the holds are for 3 weeks or so unless tracking shows delivery and/or the buyer leaves positive feedback.
Your best bet would be to contact eBay's CS by clicking on "ebay help" at the top of the page then scrolling to the bottom for the contact option.
Edit. G'day Jelly.

Hi @Padi - yes it does seem to be a bit weird.
If he started selling at the beginning of Feb then I believe the hold continues for around 3 months until they are re-established as a seller and he should be coming to the end of all that.
OP just needs to clarify if they were or were not selling prior to the 4th of Feb.

They've got feedback as a seller from over a year ago Jelly, there's a few negs in there but with the amount of sales in the last year those shouldn't cause the hold. Weird indeed...............

I have randomly starting experiencing this issue over the past couple of days! My eBay account is 17 years old and I have been selling consistently for the past 6 months. I offer same day dispatch and tracking numbers are immediately uploaded to eBay when I print my postage labels with Australia post my post business.
I am a top rated seller and EVERY single one of my orders has a valid tracking number uploaded within my handling time saved in eBay preferences. My eBay account is a business account, fully verified and I am subscribed to managed payments.
eBay has a vague explanation about if you don't upload valid tracking numbers for at least 95% of your orders you will encounter these holds. The thing is though, as I stated, I always upload tracking numbers on time, in alignment with my same day dispatch obligation.
How could I fall below the 95% tracking number threshold if every single one of my orders includes a valid tracking number? The only two explanations I can think of is that Australia Post is neglecting to scan their parcel post packages or eBay is simply being dodgy by holding our funds so their balance sheets look more favorable to investors!

Are you putting your parcels over the counter and getting a lodgement scan, or are you just putting them into the red box?
