My listing is not appearing in searches

I am selling a Samsung Galaxy S9 phone (item number:326306849030) and when I search the words "Samsung Galaxy S9" and sort by price the item does not appear in the results.  I am doing this on a PC, not my phone.

I am doing this on a PC, not my phone.

Your item is number 4 on the list.

If I include quotation marks as you have indicated, your item appears about a third way down page one

Mine just sorts by best match and when I typed in samsung galaxy s9, yours came up 8th on my list.

I had to click into a few to find which was yours as seller name doesn't appear till then.

But your listing is definitely there and visible to anyone after one of those phones.

Your listing is definately there.  I hope that you have Registered your ID and Managed Payments.  If you haven't and sell it, you wont be paid anyway.  You will then be back here saying I want my money.

As said, it is clearly there

As said, I hope you are signed up to Managed Payments and been verified to sell and that you need to send within your handling time and not wait for the 30 day hold on funds to be up before you do

And that you know a brand new seller selling a phone like this is a magnet for scammer buyers

So make sure you know what you are doing

I am signed up for some kind of payment through eBay. When I created the listing I was asked for a bank account number. Is that what you're talking about? 

Can you please explain what scammer buyers do?

Only you know if it was Managed Payments you signed up to

Bank account information with your name matching exactly your eBay account name etc etc and you ID

And if you were then verified to sell

It would be more than just your bank account number to actually properly sign up for it

Which need to be done prior to listing anything

I cannot say about what you see when/once creating the listing as I would not try to sell without being signed up

I am not going to 'explain' what scammer buyers do, since this is a public forum and it may give 'beginner scammers' ideas

BUT

Watch out for fake/false disputes and claims

Make sure you read the selling basics 

Make sure you you send with tracking and upload that information

Thanks, for me on a PC browser in the search results there is a note that says "we've streamlined your results" and a link that says something like "click here show all results" and when I click that then the listing appears. So the first set of results are the 'streamlined' results set and there is an additional step to get the full results.  I'm not sure what this means and why my item is not showing in the streamlined results set.
