Nasty Unfair Buyer

I sold an item, I stipulated very clearly the terms of pickup, the person failed to show when she made appointment, sends abrupt message telling me (not asking) that she wants pick up outside time frame, when I said no that isn't suitable & that I am happy to cancel the transaction, to which she agreed, she then chooses to leave nasty feedback I'm over it, sellers have no protection at all, this person has not really bought anything off me but has the right to destroy my feedback

Always assume the buyer means well.  After all, they did want to buy your item. 



 


You'd think that... I sure did. These boards have tought me differently. Be nice, courteous and give the buyer a chance but at the end of the day, the most important thing is to protect yourself as a seller. Point blank. The fact that a seller can get a negative feedback for a Mutual Cancellation, even when the buyer agrees and the case is closed - speaks volumes of how you shouldn't just treat everyone as if they mean well.

Yes Agree, the only intelligent thing said so far apart from the girls solicitior finding the defamation form a scream, unforunately for ebay these forms are not legally binding in any circumstance, the governmebnt set laws ot ebay. So everyone here agrees with what stampboards do calling people bunnies and fools and dreamers. I made an honest mistake according to Bully Glen Stephens so that is justification to ruin me and set me up with neg feedback. Anyone too naive to believe it wait until you make a spelling mistake or have a difference of opinion with these people. YOUD BE PISSED OFF TOO.

It amazes me that such nastiness from one member is directed to so many and for so little. I am assuming perhaps some comments have been removed?? as I really can not work out what the latest two one line outbursts are in reactioin to, need my morning coffee perhaps

I also had the same issue with a buyer who did not read decription complained about item. Item is as decribed sold many with no complaint did not ask for refund just left bad feed back he has a rating of 8 and clearly has no idea what the hell he is doing. Called ebay to complain nothing can be done it is a joke and I now read negative feedback  as worthless information as anyone  can buy and complain without looking for solution. the worst part is you cant even leave negative feed back after they hve left yours as the system will not allow you to very uneven I say and needs to be looked at if ebay really cares about the stores that pay them lots of money to be on this site I will be looking for other selling options
