Has anyone actually used, or try to use one of these new ebay AP labels? And if so, was it successful? Any other comments?

Postpaid are zoned.
I don't know what that means
Flat rate postage is not zoned.

If you use prepaid satchels, they are a flat rate Australia wide.
If you use AP MyPost Business, they are zoned.
Discounts don't apply to prepaid, except for quantity discounts

Just looked at purchasing a label and the dimensions on a small parcel no longer change the price so it appears this is now fixed.

If you were using flat rate postage, i.e. the Aust Post satchels - extra small, small, large, etc, you would know the exact price to charge. The below sample is what ebay will charge you for using their labels, you just add a small amount for the purchase of satchels, like 25c
Flat Rate Satchels
Parcel post
Express Post
Extra Small
$7.28
$9.53
Small
$8.36
$10.99
Medium
$11.44
$14.44
Large
$14.48
$17.85
Extra Large
$17.48
$23.85

I see now that this information is incorrect. It should say Zone 1. I apologise if I misled anyone.๐

Yes, and it makes a difference. For extra small to zone 3 for example, not worth it for the sake of 19 cents. better to have it added to your mypost business transaction count.

I was just charged $9.53 for an x small satchel using eBay postage.

Particularly frustrating when X small is a set $9.70 on AP (without MYPost Business), but not so on ebay. And yes, I know their excuse is zones.

This change is such a joke. I'm now losing money on sales to the US because eBay don't charge sufficient postage costs. Of course, there is currently no way to print labels to the US even if I did want to use the Ebay system.

Huh???
I've made more than a dozen sales to US over the past week. I've lost no money on any transaction - in fact my profit margin across all of those sales averages around 250%.
I've experienced zero problems with printing labels, and my handling fee covers all costs incurred by buyers being undercharged for postage - and some.
To be honest, I can't see how anyone would be adversely affected by the current setup - unless of course they actually allow it to happen.
Here's a genuine piece of advice for you... if your business model can't handle a very basic postage increase (which is effectively what this is), then perhaps it's time for a change - just saying
