Today I refunded an buyer for one damaged item in a set. It was a partial refund. eBay refuse to give me a credit as they say they only issue credit fee on full refunds for people on Managed Payments. I was happy using PayPal, but it was eBay who forced the change to MP. The only option therefore is to request the return of the items as eBay prefer to credit fees on a full sale price, than to credit fees on a partial refund.
Anyone else had this experience? What are the other options?
Also only just found out the selling fees are now 13.4% not 10.9% any longer.

They no longer refund fees for particular refund . I just tried today , they show me this term :
Note: For transactions where eBay performed currency conversion and a refund is issued within 120 days of the
original transaction, the exchange rate used at the time of the original transaction will apply. You are not eligible for
fee credits in any of the following situations: You refund the buyer outside of eBay (using PayPal to send money, for
instance) You issued a partial refund to the buyer You or the buyer asked us to step in, and the case was closed
with a refund to the buyer

We already knew that, over a year ago.

This is exhibit A of ebay swine-ism. Seems like this will definitely change from 1 April 23, but I will try the "solution" to this thread myself seeing that it is a "manual" adjustment and not an auto adjustment. Trust eswine to toss such a ploy into the atmosphere, hoping people would just go about not realising they have been ripped off; trust them to take even more of what they don't need. I am in utter contempt to such a perverted system.

Let the thread die in peace.
