No one has started a "my sales are dead" post for a few days so I thought I'd keep the tradition going.
Anyone else suffering from a run of "lights out" at the moment? My website shop is also similarly dead. Maybe it's the time of year or maybe it's just me. How are you going?

Our second wave came over the weekend, with best sales in weeks. Today Monday and with new restrictions in place we expect a slow week as consumers re-adjust once more. A cycle is starting to emerge.
I thought it was interesting that Scummo did not list Post Offices in his essential business list, instead referring to transport and logistics.
Any location with queues like supermarkets, banks and Post Offices are places to avoid. I might go the beach instead...

It is a good thing you are not in Sydney then.....all the beaches are closed up and down the coast.
Transport and Logistics allows deliveries to essential services like supermarkets....and includes AP and other courier services.

My local AP advised yesterday that New Zealand post offices had been shut completely. I dont know if this is correct, but a concerning development if true. I am also bracing for a rush of Item not recieved cases from international sales. Everything is now being sent with tracking in the hope this helps.

New Zealand Post update on 22 March said they were continuing to receive and deliver - just a few minor changes with signature on delivery like we have here.

Sales are pretty regular but down around 25% on long term average. This is consistent with me removing the international postage option from listings on my main selling account. OS sales usually make up 25-30% of total sales. So all up, no real increase, no real decrease, just the same as normal.
Thats pretty good really as I'm not spending much time on ebay at the moment ( other fish to fry
). Usually the more effort a seller puts in, the more sales generated.

How can the fact that ebay takes their fees have any impact on your buyers?
How would they ever know when your fees come out.....and why would they care?

I notice the same thing some months and put it down to the fact I am also a buyer and that is when I have no money to buy anything so may place a number of sellers in the same postion.
