Non paying customers register??

I just sent a message suggesting we list a reigster for non paying, no response buyers and within 1 minute it was removed! Where did that go ebay?

My suggestion was that so many sellers are sick and tired of buyers not paying and not responding to emails that i would be good to have a list we can check to see if our customers will communicate and pay, rather than leaving us haning for weeks.

As it is not possible to leave feedback for people who will not pay or communicate, is it not in the top sellers best interests to have a list of 'non payers/ non communicators', it would make our life easier and yours too ebay!!

No problem, I wont name and shame, I was just frustrated with the number of non paying buyers who cant be bothered paying or even replying to emails weeks after the bidding, and the having to relist the item, you loose faith!!. AND we cant leave negative feedback for them!!

why ARE you waiting weeks?  the 8 days ebay allows is more than time enough

follow the non payer rules and your life will be easier, particularly if you set yr preferences to block those would-be buyers with non payer strikes

Re: Non paying customers register??

Being an EBay Power Seller for more than 10 years, I experience the same problems highlighted in this topic.   The ongoing policy changes which were supposed to provide a more equal playfield for all involved parties have become a seller’s nightmare. The percentage of non-paying bidders (and yes I do use the blocking filter) has skyrocketed within the last 12 month. In my case up to 560%!   Enough is enough.  EBay Sellers are pretty much forced (excuse my French) to bend over and to take everything.

Due to this scenario, I have significantly reduced the numbers of listings. Luckily, I do sell more stock through my own website.

EBay’s habit to flog users with constant changes could have a more positive effect, if they would introduce a feedback system which highlights a buyer’s non-paying history.

But it seems that EBay has no or only little interest to ban non-paying bidders, as in their term………. a bad customer is still a customer who may commit to purchases in the future.
