Unbelievable..Not one sale this Christmas week can you believe this?? sure delivery times etc etc but in previous years people have brought well into the last days of Christmas..despite not getting their purchase till after the day..this has easily been the WORST year we've experienced on E-Bay..and the line about they don't make money if you don't sell is a furphy...there is this thing called "Listing Fees" which add up when items are auto re-listed and despite the "free listings" Maybe one of my New Years resolutions is to learn about selling a different way and give EBay the finger.. This used to be such a great place to be now its depressingly awful..thanks EBay for a wonderful Christmas...

Sales are slow, but it's to be expected - most people are either away, or are "shopped out" by now.
In terms of listing fees - in my shop I have everything marked as "Good Til Cancelled", so I'm only paying the monthly store fee of $19, but no re-list fees. That might be the way to go if you're getting stung with constant re-listing fees.

I have actually done better than last week although it is still a bit down on the same week last year.

I,ve had a few sales today including one real biggy, but its generally pretty slow. Tommorow will be interesting. Last year I had six sales on Christmas day.

I love Christmas night and boxing day morning auctions. Everyone is either in bed or too busy. I use those time to bid overseas for that reason. I won quite a few auctions on Christmas day last year for a fraction of the price I was prepared to pay. Same thing happened the year before. My watch list is loaded with Christmas and boxing day auctions. Not saying I'll bid on them all, but the option is there.

I'm in a different market to you, i have no complaints at all with sales, as a matter fact i closed my Ebay shop because i can't post and i don't want any more defects for shipping times.

Very few sales last week also.
Alot of b&m businesses saying the same.
I think we're basically in a recession but the govt fiddles the books to make it look like we're not.
Shows on tv about "booming internet sales" are just a prompt to get people to buy. Propaganda really....
Unemployment increasing....
