On my other id I have sold an item as a BIN, postage cost quoted in listing, buyer has paid, with no questions or contact until I marked her parcel as posted, tonight I receive an email asking "do I refund excess postage"
I note that this statement is mentioned in her last feedback left.
Actual cost to me was $1.55 more than she paid, would like some help in how to answer this question, the right way.

I have been coming on these boards for some 8 years and I have never needed to back up my argument by using different ID. I do have several IDs, but none has 0 FB.

Must be the mob posting behavior that you are invariably involved in that has confused me then.

PJ has ONE posting id & ONE only 😐

"when you sign up on eBay you agree to the fees charged for the service you use, as well as working within the parameters eBay sets.
yes, people in other countries have signed up under slightly different rules. Actually, you are free to list on eBay.com or eBay.com.UK or in China, why don't you, if the rules for Australia are so unfair."
So if all these nasty dishonest sellers are breaking the eBay rules why hasn't eBay removed all their listing, I mean if you do something as trivial as listing a store item twice they will remove it and issue a policy violation??
Why don't I list on eBay US / China because I am not the one that has the issue with the dishonest postage pirates - you do. Again using your non logic if you are so disadvantaged by the non level playing ground cause by the excessive postage why don't you sell at another site were its not a problem.

So what you are saying is that you know the other ID is also mine because sometimes the ID posted something opposite to what I posted, and here this ID is posting something agreeing with me? I think you probably had enough, whatever it is you are drinking or smoking.
I've spent all day trying to work out who the 2 IDs are. Couldn't pick anything, but the penny dropped when I saw that you used the word 'numpties', nova.
Obviously that makes you pj as it is illegal for anybody else to use that word. :^O

I did not think or infer pj had multiple posting ids
in this thread another poster mentioned pj

I bet I could do a forum search on at least one other ID and find that it has been used to post here by PJ, so before being so assertive if might be best to make sure what you claim is correct.
And, no I won't be "outing" the other ID.

Regardless bump. catspjs seems to have a not particularly obvious bee in the pjs.
And totally off-topic as well, which doesn't worry me but offends some BPs

Wow! How did this thread get so twisted?! Now just to clarify in case anybody wants to jump on my ID I am not anybody else on this thread.
And getting back to postage issues, I stand by my comments that buyers should not charge excessive postage. I really don't want to quibble about the reasons sellers have for doing so, or eBay fees etc., I believe in fairness and the way demonstrate that is to clearly state what postage costs and charge fairly. And yes, I appreciate other sellers doing the same.
To those arguing otherwise, what would you say about a buyer charging to deliver a satchel but delivering it themselves? Hypothetically speaking?

I would be bemused by a buyer delivering a satchel, even if it was a return of a pickup item. And it still wouldn't satisfy Paypal.
As a SELLER, however, I have hand delivered items to buyers who live close to me. And refunded the postage in cash for those who insisted on paying for it. And worn the extra PP fees for same.
