Just after opinions.
I prefer PayPal but I do offer bank deposit as well.
However, I am considering offering only PayPal payments in the future as I find it the most easiest and I like the idea of both me and the buyer having that protection.
I'm wondering ... Is it a bad idea to not offer bank deposit? Do sellers find most of their payments are through PayPal or directly into their bank?
Are there any sellers here who offer only PayPal, and if so, how is that going?
Thanks in advance for any opinions.

Offer both-any sensible seller would as even though a buyer has no protection using bank deposit,so many people still use it.
Re Paypal being a 'safer' method for both buyer & seller-not exactly true.
Seller only has protection if they use a Paypal qualifying method of posting.

I personally wouldn't do away with bank deposit as there are still some buyers who refuse to use PayPal. I still have the odd buyer who pays by money order, despite the terrible cost, somewhere around the $5 mark I think:-)

As a buyer I always use paypal,
BUT when I see in a listing the seller only accepts paypal it puts me off a little.
Can you list in such a way that it doesnt exclude direct deposit but buyer can if they choose to, you may get a new buyer who hasn't got paypal yet, I know it took me a long time to trust both ebay and paypal.

As a buyer i prefer paypal. As i often by pattern books and sometimes this in around $5.00 i pay with bank deposit so sellers do not have to pay paypal fees, As a seller i would like buyers to pay for small items with bank depost. dont mind pver $10. with paypal

I guess there's definitely reasons to keep bank deposit as a payment option.
Thanks guys.
